ANSWER:

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as the Food Stamp Program, provides an assistance of food-purchasing for low- and no-income people living in U.S. It is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net. The Food and Nutrition Service works in coordination with nutrition educators, State agencies, and neighbourhood and faith-based organizations to ensure that those eligible for nutrition assistance can make informed decisions about applying for the program and can avail the program benefits.

Federalist’s supports it as they think it is strengthening the agricultural economy and providing improved nutrition levels among low-income households. However Anti-Federalists thinks that the people who use SNAP and other available social assistance programs are usually free riders and lazy people; having too many kids; or even intentionally have more children just to raise the amount of assistance they receive. Furthermore fraud is committed by retailers when they exchange cash for benefits, selling products that are banned by SNAP such as liquor and cigarettes, redeem greater benefits than the food sale of the store, or charge items which are unidentifiable on EBT cards

Intellectual property rights-and the enforcement of them through the federal government-has caused much debate throughout the years. The system purportedly creates a balance between producers and consumers, and encourages innovation that would not otherwise occur. The textbook states: "Granting monopolies can encourage progress by providing a financial incentive to producers. Singers, songwriters, inventors, drug companies, manufacturers—they all invent and innovate in the hope of making money. If they knew that the law wouldn’t protect what they came up with, they’d...
