1)Heart rate of the fetus and Contraction of the woman's uterus are written on the fetal monitor plot .

2)Fetal monitoring occurs when trained care provider use tool to monitor and interpret the baby's heart beat during labour and birth.It helps to decide whether or not to intervene in the birth process.

3) Intrauterine resuscitation is a specific measure aiming of increasing oxygen delivery to the placenta and umbilical blood flow in order to reverse hypoxic and acidosis.

4)Main goal of intrauterine resuscitation are:-

a)Active management of fetal distress by increasing oxygen supply to placenta.

b)Obstetric management of labour while preparing for caesarean delivery for fetal distress.

5)Maternal repositioning,Discontinuation of administration of oxytocin,use of tocolytic drugs and intermittent pushing are common intervention used to achieve intrauterine resuscitation.
