IV). I will primarily set up a positive mood for the communication. I will inform Mrs. Green that her daughter often visits her and she visited her recently. I will use gentle touch to reassure her about her daughter and I will try to deal with her by being calm and patient. I will try to be consistent in the communication and I will avoid any form of distractions in the communication.

V). Mrs. Green is suffering from dementia and she is concerned for her daughter. While hearing the answers that she wish to hear can relax her. So setting up a positive mood of communication and talking to her about the visits from her daughter can comfort her. Moreover, using gentle touch and respectful behavior can make her calm. Dealing with patience and calmness can help her have consistency and avoiding distractions in the communication can keep her focused in the communication. Her involvement and engagement can empower her which can even bring her some confidence. This can be motivating as well as helpful for Mrs. Green.
