I work in cancer department , I have seen in my duty hours that many of the costly cancer drugs, some kits etc does not come under the insurance medicine chart and patients are fighting for this with their policy person because people have to pay full charges for it and they have no money to pay such huge amount at a go . In cancer ,the main treatment is chemotherapy and if the chemo drugs and other equipments are not under insurance then it is of no worth and it's a big issue to be sorted out . The government has passed the bill for providing full financial support for cancer patients and also has implemented rule that insurance policy should cover all the expenses and finances of cancer patients.

Despite of all these facilities , people are in search of money to buy medicines and , to pay the bills . These people already have so much of psychological pressure and emotionally they are broken down by seeing one of their family members being diagnosed as having cancer . It's for them the government has made this rule and plans hence it needs to be followed. In the files it all mentioned there but in practical it's not being provided to them . And to save the life of their loved ones they adjust cash from some where and buy medicine and other required articles so that treatment goes on even they don't have anything to eat .

It's an important matter , hence it needs to be addressed to the authorities . People are being denied their rights . They don't have money to put a case or to do multiple visits of the court. But it's their right and it has to be addressed somewhere within the administration and surveys has to be conducted to do find where the money is going actually.

The issue is setting dependend and the health policy has a separate policy for cancer patients which include each and every healthcare services being provided in the hospital should be under the coverage of insurance . Hence , strict implementation and evaluation of the functioning of policy will directly influence it in a positive way .
