Answer: UV rays are harmful which causes various skin diseases. UV rays causes skin cancer by damaging the skin generating DNA cells. It causes allergies, rashes and long exposure to sun causes sunburn. The newborn have more delicate and sensitive skin. Exposure for more than 10 minutes in the direct sunlight damages the skin and may cause burn. The eyes can be also damage if direct exposure to the sun. It increases the chances of developing skin cancer.
