Vitamins are micronutrients(antioxidants) that play a vital role in boosting our immune system. There is some vitamin deficiency that directly and indirectly affects the immune system.

Vitamin-C deficiency:- Vitamin C contributes to biosynthetic and gene regulatory enzymes, it also contributes to cellular functions in the adaptive and innate immune system. The deficiency of vitamin c impaired all these functions which makes it susceptible to get an infection.

Vitamin- B6 deficiency:- Vitamin-B6 deficiency affects biochemical reactions in both cell-mediated immune responses and humoral immune responses in the immune system, it also affects the immune response.

Vitamin- E deficiency:- Deficiency of Vitamin- E decreases cellular immunity, it a potent antioxidant that helps our immune system to fight with infection and also slow the process of aging.

Vitamin- A deficiency:- Vitamin- A is otherwise called an antiinflammation vitamin. Deficiency of Vitamin- A encourage inflammation in the body.
