The change in percentage is calculated by dividing the individual item's change in dollars by the change in dollars of total assets.

For example, the change in percentage of current assets for 2016 = change in dollars for current assets for 2016 / change in dollars for total assets for 2016

Change in percentage of current assets for 2016 = $80,000 / $210,000

Change in percentage of current assets for 2016 = 38.10%
