Let 'x' = equilibrium [CH3COO-] = equilibrium [H3O+]

Then, equilibrium [HCH3COO] = (0.83-x) M

Now, Kc = [CH3COO-][H3O+]/[HCH3COO]

i.e. 1.8*10-5 = x*x/(0.83-x)

Here, (0.83-x) ~~ 0.83

i.e. x2 = 1.8*10-5 * 0.83 = 0.00001494

i.e. x = 0.003865 M

Therefore, equilibrium [CH3COO-] = equilibrium [H3O+] = 0.003865 M

And equilibrium [HCH3COO] = (0.83-0.003865) M = 0.826135 M
