Case summary:

Physician taking care of Person NS who was admitted for cerebral vascular accident and left sided paralysis asks her to visit rehabilitation unit for physical treatment. Person NS with her elder daughter visits rehabilitation unit and are anxious but did not ask any question to the physician.

Person NS is a female Muslim doctrine so what cultural factor would relate the reason for anxiety.

Apparent anxiety is explained using cultural factors mentioned below:

The anxiety may be due to lack of communication or incapability to apprehend the analysis. The anxiety may be due to time since time may run slow for person with pain and develop anxiety and faster for person who have work load.

The communal groups with traditional practice have their own perseverance about past, present, and future time being interrelated to their health and build anxiety.

Conclusion:

The cultural factor that mostly disturbs Muslim women is space and time. The patient has to be provided the space around their body as it is psychological factor that affect their health. Time may run slow for person with pain and develop anxiety.

A Muslim woman might favor to be looked after by female nurse than male. Since they have come for a physical treatment this might be their reason for anxiety.
