Craig is a 55-year old male who has been relatively sedentary most of his life. He works an 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. desk job and ventures out to a fast food restaurant on most days, for his lunch. Beside the occasional nightly walk with his dog, Craig does not engage in regular physical activity.
About a month ago, Craig paid a visit to his primary care physician due to frequent chest pain and shortness of breath after walking short distances. Craig’s doctor ran a few tests and the following was found:

Height: 5 ft 8 inches

Total Cholesterol Level: 320 mg/dL
Triglycerides Level: 145 mg/dL
HDL: 70 md/dL

Health History

Activity level: Sedentary

Additional Measurements
Blood Pressure: 160/100 (mm Hg)
Resting Heart Rate: 65 beats/minute

After the doctor reviewed Craig’s results, it was demanded that he make significant lifestyle choices to his health immediately.
