Socioeconomic status of of individual plays a vital role in their health status. If a person has a higher socioeconomic status he tends to remain more healthy .
The factors that effects the health of the population living in low socioeconomic environment are impure drinking waters, stale food, unhygienic practices, open field defecation and numerous insect and rodent attacks.
My experience in India of socioeconomic status with the health outcome has been that the socioeconomic status plays a vital role in influencing the health of the people. If a person is very ealthy and lives in a very high socioeconomic environment then he will be less likely to get disease conditions. And he will be able to cure or treat his condition before it becomes too late where as people living in slum areas face lots of health issues in their life time which may include malnutrition, diarrhoea, malaria, dengue, gastrointestinal disorders etc. And if they will not afford to treat it will end up in death.
