Ans) An organization related to my health care discipline is Susan G Komen. Their mission and vision statement is “to save lives and to end breast cancer forever, by empowering others, ensuring quality carefor all, and investing in science to find the cures”. My hospital, The Cancer Treatment Centers of America supports Susan G Komen and donates to their cause. Upon viewing the website for Susan G Komen and based on my personal experience in working with them I feel that the values of the organization are expressed in their mission statement. The Susan G Komen foundation wants to find a cure for breast cancer that in turn will save millions of lives. They help raise money to do research in hopes of finding the cute. They empower those with the disease by being advocates for those with the disease, funding.
