Answer 4

(a) We know that population is defined as the total set of observations. In this case, population under study is all the frequent flyers who took their flights.

(b) sampling frame is defined as the list which can be used to make a sample out of the population. In this case, the population is the number of all frequent flyers, so sampling frame will be the 10,000 frequent flyers.

(c) Population parameter is any value which describes about the population. In this case, population parameter is the proportio of people or frequent flyers who are ready to use or planning to use their new hub in the next six months.

(d) Sampling method used is simple random sampling because there is no biasing in the sampling and randomly 10,000 people are selected from the database. So, it is a simple random sampling case.
