Belief theory deals with the fact that people in an organization can be convinced about a certain direction and the merits of the action taken to achieve and this results in a greater conviction on the part of the employees and they are also more motivated. This generation of conviction or belief in the employees is only possible if there is a dynamic and charismatic leader who is at the helm of the affairs and can show a vision to the employees regarding the future state of the company. The personality and the aura of the leader plays a key role in determining the extent of the belief and hence leadership plays a vital role in the realization of the belief theory.
