4 ps od social marketing includes :

1. Product,

2. Price,

3. Place or distribution,

4. Promotion.

Public health : it is defined as it is a science and art of preventing the diseases and promotion of health through by implementing the health programme in an organized efforts and informed choices to the individual, community, society, public and private organizations.

If we incorporate the 4 ps of social marketing into public health means,

If we will take an example of hypertension and diabetes people in community,

1.Product : home based blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring kits are products.

2.Price : it should be affordable by the people who needs that kits, so that they can get that kids to monitor themselfs by in home.

3.Place or distribution : in health care settings or by conducting meetings the health care professionals may distribute the kits to the patients, by creating awareness.

4.Promotion : by that distribution of kits the patients can monitor their blood pressure levels and sugar levels in the home it self, if any abnormalities are there they can go to the hospital, and by giving health education regarding diet and life style modifications they can promote their health.
