Obesity needs increasing among children and disadvantaged people
like under poverty, people with disabilities and elderly people.
Policies and environmental changes should support people with
healthy eating and physical activity. To address the obesity
prevention initiative statewide support can help engage the people
with more sustainable for long term positive health outcomes.
Healthier environment for children to have physical activity and
eating healthy foods with support to local and statewide
partnerships help to lead a healthy intervention. Staff support in
obesity prevention efforts helps connect with partners, government
public health, community to change in the system through childhood
education, active community, healthy food, and advocacy.
Evidence-based strategies to implement the project should be
appropriate to the community.

to healthy eating and physical activity among children. Healthy
programs initiative each facility to make improvements to nutrition
and physical activity can improve their health behavior and
environmental changes. Early childhood and education(ECE)
facilities improving healthy eating and physical activity for young
children. It makes changes in play activity and nutrition. It
supports 25 new ECE sites each year especially rural areas. Their
project includes e-newsletter and technical support for face to
face interview, phone and email interviews to expand the program
sustainability to meet the needs of the community.
