1. Follow 6 Rights of drug administration ( Right patient, drug, dose, route, time and documentation)

2. Check the medication label whether it is correct as prescribed by the physician

3. Check for Expiry date on the medication label

4. Check for Batch number and manufacturer date OF MEDICATION

5. Check for any breakages/ opening/ broken glass in medicine

6. Double check the medicine and follow 6 rights of drug administration before giving medicine to patient.
