  2. False, as the purchasing function is one of the most vale enhancing functions in any organisation, therefore it is necessary to periodically monitor the performance of the purchasing function with regard to the industry benchmarks to ensure the standards.
  3. True, rationalisation of suppliers is something that means reducing the number of suppliers to the company to ensure proper monitoring of suppliers, which is possible if the number of suppliers are less, in order to ensure quality.
  4. True, supplier code of conduct is something which is relating to suppliers way of maintaining ethical working conditions, it is very important for every company to ensure proper supplier code of conduct, because it may lead to damage of the supply chain.
