Implementing HPR is a time consuming process. Identify two to three barriers inherent in the process and how you would attempt to mitigate them
Human Resources Planning(HRP) is an important and difficult
process, it takes more time for formulating. It should meet the
balance between demand and supply of resources.
Barrier:
- there is a demand for the supply of human resources due to poor
management.
-Due to demand labor turnover, absenteeism, lack of market target
and fluctuation, failure to technology adoption make this HRP
ineffective.
-There is a conflict between qualitative and quantitative
approaches for the use.
We should mitigate the barrier with top management in resource
planning, improving technology adoption, increasing adequate human
resources, increasing labor turnover and qualitative approach to
target carrier planning development, moral and skills. Human
resources personnel should avoid handling personal matters in
planning and making reliable data for planning as an integral part
of corporate planning and then only HRP will be effective. time
horizon should be proper on focusing on changing needs and
situations for the particular organization.
