Develop a schematic of the communication process using a specific and concrete example from your time with your seminar group. This example should represent an incident/occurrence from when you were working with your team and there was a barrier and/or conflict with communication. Identify the specific communication barriers (including causes) that may have contributed to the incident/occurrence, how specifically & concretely they were resolved (if they were) and the specific outcome of the situation.

Ans- In my previous organisation, i was unable to address my problems to my manager which i was facing with one of my colleagues. He used to assign his work to me without the consent of my manager. I was overburdened with the work pressure. But one day when one of his reconciliation was not matching and he will have to submit the reconciliation within the next 1 hour at that point of time he took my name in the team meeting that I have done a mistake for which his reconciliation is not matching. At that point of time everyone in the team along with my manager came to know that his work is done my me also. The main communication barrier in this context is STATUS BARRIER.

The main causes for this was that it was in my perception was that the manager was not approachable and the manager might get angry with me which will affect my carrier in the long run.

This problem was resolved when my manager took me separately in a meeting room and explained me that he is always approachable. He also told me that not to accept anybody's work without prior consent of him or if anyone is assigning any work that work must be sent in mail copying my manager.

The specific outcome of the situation was i was able to concentrate in the work assigned to me and my accuracy of the work increased to a great extent and received client appreciation for my work.
