Answer #1

The general rise in the prices of goods and services over a period of time is known as inflation.

In terms of the value of dollar, it means that the purchasing power of dollar will reduce over a period of time.

eg, in 2017 we were able to purchase 1kg wheat with $1 dollar.

In 2018 we have to pay $2 to purchase 1kg wheat.

Costs of inflation

1) the whole pricing system is distorted as people refuses to buy goods and services at the higher prices.

2) the call for government involvement increases in order to to manage this whole condition of inflation, may be through contractionary fiscal policy.

In 2012, Psychologist Heather Butler studied the importance that critical thinking plays in our everyday lives. "Critical thinking is not just the new buzzword in education. Critical thinking involves real outcomes that can be measured, predicted, and—perhaps for the negative life events—avoided" (Butler, 2012, p. 725). In 2013, studies by Grossmann, Varnum, Kitayama, and Nisbett concluded that wise reasoning, rather than intelligence, was a predictor of well-being. In 2017, Dr. Butler and her colleagues, referencing the Grossmann study and based...

These two groups are two samples representing the population of workers in the economy. We want to know if the workers who take the training (treatment sample) have higher earnings than the group that do not take the training (control sample). If we find that the trained workers have higher earnings it would indicate that the training is effective.[1]In terms of statistics, we will do a hypothesis test on the difference between the mean earnings in the treatment population and...

Topics (choose one): 1. We have studied the moral philosophies of Aristotle and Epictetus (Stoics). You will include at least four constraints (not including the X1 ≥ 0 and X2 ≥ 0 [i.e., the “Non-negativity” or “Duh!”] constraints). At least one of these four must be a “≤” constraint, and at least one other must be a “≥” constraint; do not include any “= only” constraints. You must have a unique Optimal Solution...

Overview: Database management plays an integral role in nearly every area of business.
