Answer: The characteristics finding for stroke are:

  • Numbness in hands and feet
  • Sudden difficulty in speaking, thinking ability
  • Blurred vision
  • Imbalance, unable to walk properly.

The strokes may cause paralysis which makes person useless and he won't be able to work or perform any kind of task. It directly effects the financial problems as well as increases stress on the patient and his family.

The nurse should provide counselling to the patient l. Nurse should indulge in providing cultural competence environment as well as spiritual support. This will increase faith and reduces the stress of the patient.
