According to the plan’s policy information (often printed in a pamphlet that accompanies the policy itself or available online at the plan’s website), what benefits does the policy cover? Are some services excluded from coverage? Are any preventive medical services included?

1)Medicare advantage plans are a type of Medicare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all Part A which covers inpatient care in hospital, skilled nursing facility care, Inpatient care in a skilled nursing facility,Hospital care and home care.It also covers Part B which include clinical research, Ambulance services, Durable medical equipment, mental health(Inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalisation), getting a second opinion before surgery, limited outpatient prescription drugs.

2)Medicare plan doesn't cover long term care (also called custodial care), most of dental care, eye exams related to prescribing glasses, Dentures, Cosmetics surgery, Acupuncture,Hearing Aids and exams for fitting them, Routine foot care.

3)Yes,some of preventive medical services are included especially under Part B which includes :-

Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening

Alcohol misuse screening and counselling

Bone mass measurements

Cardiovascular disease screening

Behavior therapy

Cervical & vagical cancer screening

Colorectal cancer screening

Depression screening

Diabetes screening
