Answer #1

A group of signs or symptoms that commonly occur together and indicate a particular disease or abnormal condition is called a Syndrome. The syndrome comes from a Greek word which means "concurrence" it simply means running together or occurring 2 or more events at the same time.  So, the syndrome is some group of signs and symptoms which show the characteristic of a particular disease and an abnormal condition. It just more than a set of signs and symptoms. The examples of syndromes are Acquired Immunodeficiency syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, Down syndrome, etc.
