Answer #1

Time difference between each degree longitude is 4 minutes.

Time difference between 118 deg W and 65 deg W is

4*(118-65) = 212 minutes = 3 hr 32 minutes.

118 deg W lags behind 65 deg W.

Time at 118 deg W is 6PM - 3 hrs 32 minutes = 5:28 PM

As it does not cross 12 night , date remains same, that is 8 October.
Hence date and time at 118deg W, when standard time at 65 deg W is 6:00 PM on 8th oct. is
5:28 PM, 8th October
