Plagiarism is copying others content or ideas and showing it as our own.Plagiarism is not a good practice not only in education but every where. Plagiarism may give temporary results but could not help out in personal growth.

• Sarah a 1st year Baccalaureate nursing student got the assignment of preparing 0.05% of 10ml KMNO4 solution.But she stolen already prepared solution from Anna who got the same assignment.
• Benny second year nursing student need to submit drug book.Instead of referring books, Benny borrowed the drug book from Jeena , copied and submitted.
• 4th year nursing students Joyce and Anila were assigned with 7 months prenatal mothers in antenatal ward.Tutor asked to preform abdominal examination.Joyce performed the examination and entered all the findings.Anila with out doing examination, the results of Joyce were entered in her case study.

Plagiarizing may be appears as fun during student period.But unlike other professions Nursing skills and knowledge cannot be plagiarized.This is actually showing the things learnt in the form of actions. Evidence based care the main practice of nursing that is application of concepts to the life situations through proper planning and implementation.

Nursing profession is considered as a simple easy profession by the public.But this is actually a profession that should have a real time dedication, skills and knowledge as we are dealing with the lives of the people.
