B) What is currently being done to address this issue and by whom? Also, is it working and how do you know?

A) answer :

There are so many health issues in our community that causes major loss to individual ,family and as well as community

Ex : cardio vascular diseases ,obesity , hypertension ,diabetes etc .

As compared to other health problems the obesity is the major health issue which have greater impact on the health status of people in community .

Middle aged and who are near to retirement or retired people are the high risk groups to get the disease.

Especially who are having poor health practices such as sedentary life style , physical inactivity , who are not doing regular exercises and poor dietary habits such as taking high fat diet and genitic predisposion may take role here.

B ) there are so many strategies to reduce the obesity problem in community  

By conducting work shops and conferences to reach the people .

By means of creating awareness regarding obesity .

By means of health education programmes to prevent the obesity and and educating about health promotive activities .

Educating about maitenance of fitness and providing adequate information regarding complications of obesity such as cardiovascular diseases and hypertension and other co morbid conditions.

Encourage the people to practice healthy life style and advice to take proper diet such as fat free diet and high nutritious diet .

Encourage the community people to adapt the stress relieving techniques .

Encourage for physical activity.

3) by means of creating awareness among people .

By conducting health education programmes .

Early identification and prompt treatment .
