What resources are cost effective and available to the patient population that you serve in assisting them in making healthy dietary changes and incorporating exercise into their daily routines? Do your facilities provide resources to patients who are at risk for developing diabetes, cardiac issues, etc? If so, what are they and have they proven to be effective?

Dietary changes and exercise play a significant role in an individuals health to have a balance with internal and external environment. The strategies that would make the population understand the importance of these by the effective resources which should be planned in an effective way and must be available to the population were in the fostering of the population on achieving the goal would be effective. These resources include:

# School based programs: it includes the role of nutrition and physical training in maintaining physical and mental health. School food services should provide the healthy meals because they affect health directly and it provides special opportunities to teach population by example. School based physical training for young people which in turn maintains healthy life without any infirmities.

# Interventions at the work site : this includes a wide variety of health promotion activities because workers spend maximum portion of their waking hours and eat more of food in this setting. These can be including again educating them in a systematic way, screening them for the risk of behaviour factors, offer them the incentive programs to walk, ride bicycle or take public transportation to work improving environment to initiate good activity and healthy diet. These work site promotion of health results in a positive return on costeffectness.

# Interventions by the health carers : the physician counselling accompanied by a leaflet or any written material is useful in the modification of behavior. Nutritional assessments to find out the risk group, categorising them and explaining them illeffects of obesity or undernutrition and give them the diet plan which would help them overcome the problem and this is cost effective.

Yes my facility provide resources to patients in form of:

# educational means they conduct various educational programs to maintain the haemostasis of an individual in promotion of health by vaccination, dietary changes and follow up.

# screening is done every 6months once for the diabetes, obesity and cardiac issues to early identify the vulnerable group and to encourage them for the other course of action.

# supply of some written material about the risk of not having proper diet and exercise

# in campus gym which provides an opportunity to use it for a while to burn out the calories and as relaxation

# medications and yoga weekly twice mandatory for mindfulness and muscle relaxation.

The above methods are proven to be effective in my institution because people when screened for health issues have a very low percentage which is turn is an generalisation that having these cost effective benefits at work place will make population have the health lifestyle.
