Answer #1

C. JUNK FOODS

ANSWER: Many studies have been conducted in U.S to found out the highest calorie food on which they are consuming. On that analysis, it is estimated that sugary products and aerated drinks reign supreme over healthier options like vegetables and fruits to about 25 percent of all calories consumed by Americans. In addition to this, salty snacks and fruit flavored drinks instead of natural products ( fruits) were consumed to about 5 percent and less nutrient foods to about 30 percentage. Due to consuming high calorie diet on a daily basis, now the American population are facing a crisis on OBESITY. The reason is these junk foods are providing calories without any vitamins and minerals. On the otherhand, fresh vegetables and fruits only produce 10 percentage of calorie intake if they were added in foods which inturn reduce overweight and gives adequate energy, vitamins and nutrients to the body for the growth. So, it is clear that junk foods are the most consumed and the reason for over weight in U.S populations.
