I remember my own circumstance working as a social worker. I always showed compassion because of this very reason. I always said in my mind what if this was me. Sure enough years and years later, something unforeseen happened and I was on the other side of the desk needing services. I feel that my good treatment during those times happened because I was compassionate when I was a social worker. Why do you think professional people treat others less fortunate badly?

Professional people treat other less fortunate badly because when you are a social worker, those people were getting profit out of your work somehow. Professional people never do altruistic work. They always want profit and do not treat people well who don't get them proper money. Less fortunate people seek help and when such people come to the other side of table after serving other people, they face the same situation what other people have faced.
