In the given case the childe weight is 63 lbs , that is 28.5 kg

Hence the safest dose for this child = 50 x 28.5
= 1425 mg per day.

If it is given for every 8 hour it would be, 1425 / 3 = 475 mg.
So the safe dose is 475 mg for every 8 hour.
