Answer #1

mass of H3PO4 = 2.97 g

molar mass of H3PO4 = 97.994 g/mol

mol of H3PO4 = (mass)/(molar mass)

= 2.97/97.994

= 0.0303 mol

Balanced chemical equation is:

(NH4)3PO4 —>H3PO4 + 3 NH3

According to balanced equation

mol of (NH4)3PO4 reacted = moles of H3PO4

= 0.0303 mol

mass of (NH4)3PO4 = number of mol * molar mass

= 0.0303*149.096

= 4.52 g
