Levodopa is in the class of central nervous system agents, whereas carbidopa is known as decarboxylase inhibitors. Levodopa and carbidopa are effective drugs for the treatment for Parkinson's disease. It increases the dopamine concentration in the brain and improves the nerve conduction.
