Answer #1

Increase carbohydrate diet can be two type

Simple carbohydrate or complex carbohydrate both obtain from different different diet.

Simple carbohydrate give immediate rise in blood glucose level that increases insulin secretion from pancreas.

Insulin helps in the consumption of glucose to the cells for energy production and storage or glucose in liver and muscles in the form of glycogen.

When blood glucose level dip in blood leads to glycogen break down with the help of glucagon, meanwhile the blood glucose level maintain at a level in brain.

Increased carbohydrate consumption leads to increased insulin demand or secretion for normal glycemic control of blood glucose levels in the body.

This rise of blood glucose occurs only with simple carbohydrate consumption not with complex carbohydrate because simple carbohydrate easily break down into glucose and give energy more while complex carbohydrate break down with high consumption of energy and during metabolism of complex carbohydrate it consumps more energy so does not give rise in blood glucose level.
