Health education is the process of educating people about health and it's different aspects including :-

- health promotion

- disease prevention

- restoration of health

- dimensions of health

- types of prevention

Health education is a vital part of the healthcare system ,without this the care provided is incomplete because patients don't know about their disease ,it's treatment required ,what are the precautions to be taken how to use the equipment etc so, in each and every task there comes a point of education hence ,it's very important .

The population located in North Carolina ,USA are those people who are suffering from drug addiction health issue . It's one of the place in USA where drug transportation and mafiya are more severely spread and carried on without any restrictions hence the teenage youth of this are more attracted and traped .

If I was assigned to design and implement a health program then I would have given more focus to two Ares that are :-

- Preventing the people from getting drug addicted

- Treatment and Rehabilitation of those who are already drug aaddicted .

Hence ,programs include primary ,secondary and tertiary prevention

Primary prevention to prevent people from getting traped ,for this taking help from the government to pass rules and strict vigilance against illegal drug mafia . Providing health education on topics how to be away from these activities , counseling classes ,distress classes because one of the common reason said by people why they used drugs is stress , classes in schools and colleges how to walk in the right path etc .

Secondary prevention include early recogization of people who are drug addict and provide treatment to them by conducting surveillance in the cities who are lying I along the road streets , dark rooms etc .

Tertiary prevention include provision of rehab facilities to come out of this bad behavior.
