Hand washing : it is one of the hygienic practice to prevent spread of cross infections and to improve health status.

Community health need of hand washing :

There is more important to maintain hygienic techniques by at the level of community area.

There is more chance to development of infections at the community area, because all the works they will do with out doing hand washing, and touching of all equipments or articles.

So there is a chance to spread of infections.

With out maintainence of proper hand washing, there is a more chance to spread of viral, bacterial like salmonella, influenza viruses, it leads to infections.

Primary prevention :

Health education regarding hand washing and vaccination.

Secondary prevention : early identification and prompt treatment.

Tertiary prevention : recovery and rehabilitation activities maintainance.

Community based organizations :

1. Individual members of the public,

2. Representatives of the community and advocacy groups,

3. Church leaders,

4. Representatives of the business community,

5. Elected officials.

These all the groups will addresses the community health needs.
