Intervention:
Primary:
The primary intervention is the identifying of passengers who not use safety belts and ensure them to use safety belts.
Secondary intervention is the authority of the police to stop the driver for disobeying of traffic rules and then found of unbelted
Tertiary intervention is taking legal action against the driver who is disobeying the traffic rules.
These are enhanced through the Motor-vehicle injuries - safety Belts Enforcement Law.
Enforcement of law and increased use of seat belts reduces motor vehicle injuries. The community sector increases public awareness of the use of safety belts. Wide variety of seat belts according to the need and age group are made available easily throughout the community. Establish community programmes on the safe use of safety belts. Awareness makes through trauma nurses, increases the use of safety belts by 29% within the 2 years period.
