The 500 ml RL contains 30 units.

How many ml contains 0.020 units?    = 0.33 ml/minute

0.02x500 30

So the rate of Pitocin solution will be 0.33ml/minute

Therefore the hourly rate is 0.33 × 60 = 20.8 ml/hour

21 ml /hour is the pump rate
