Here the given drug is in the dilution of 30 units in 1000 ml.

Here the flow rate is given in 7 mu / min.

It can be defined as 0.007 units / minutes.

So per minutes 0,007 units are providing, hence for the one hour it would be 0.42 unit

Hence the flow is 0.42 units per hour it was begin.

But the present drug dilution is 30 units per 1000 ml.

Hence 1 ml contain 0.03 units.

Here the total amount need to provide would be 0.42 units 14 ml ( 0.42 / 0.03 = 14 ).

Therefore the IV should be run at 14 ml / hour.
