Answer #1

Treating a sick individual has begun from ancient days.In ancient period there were no special medically trained professionals to cure a disease. It mainly depended on the religion ,magic, vegetative drug, incantation, trepanning, dancing ,grimaces, use of charms in treatment by a witch or a sorcerer (witch doctor).being the main reason for any specific medical laws in ancient history.

In18th century a stone pillar is inscribed with the "Code of Hammurabi " a Babylion king .

It described about the laws relating to the practice of medicine and the doctor will be punished for a failed treatment which kills a life ,will be cut off his hands.

Later the laws came one by one over a time period hence clarifying one that there were no specific laws in ancient history.
