Answer #1

Death is universal. The perception on it almost similar for all individuals that it is a loss ,missing of a life. This is not a scenario with spiritual leaders ,certain culture ,religion ,etc., who believe that it is just an end to physical presence but there is a life after death.

Healthcare professionals come across this more frequently in their career.A nurse in intensive care unit when experience this for the first time after graduation can make them emotionally disturbed but as the nurse gains experiences, they are capable of making rationale decision and understand the prognosis of a disease condition and gets themselves aware and be prepared yo face this type of situation efficiently. This experience makes oneself to realise this is universal and to be accepted and providing psychological support to recover. A lack of knowledge on this can make the healthcare professionals to encounter fear, confusion and difficult to handle the situations. This over time can make the professionals to be stronger and accept the fact of death.
