Clarithromycin is used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.

Diphenhydramine 30 mg PO TID .Diphenhydramine belongs to a group of medications known as antihistamines. Antihistamines are used to treat symptoms caused by allergies, including itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and skin rash and irritations. Diphenhydramine comes with label 12.5 mg per 5 ml.(For example).

Patient needs 30 mg PO TID.

12.5 mg = 5 ml

Desired amount= 30 mg

Amount in hand = 12.5 mg

Volume= 5ml

desired amount /amount in hand* volume=Dose

(30*5)/12.5= Dose
