Throughout your journey in the Medical Administration program, you have probably been dreaming of your perfect job. As a medical administration professional, what are your future plans for the perfect career? How to do you plan on obtaining that career?

Our career goals are just one part of our larger life and personal aspirations. One should focus on our career goals. If our personal goals align with attributes that will make you a stronger, you can certainly include those. There can be many details to your future plans, keep your answer short and at a high level.

I’d love to be a true apparel medical expert with successful end-to-end professional management experience under my belt as I look to grow into a more senior medical analyst. It’s exciting that our profession has a strong focus on hands-on experience and continued learning opportunities.

My future goal includes, how to lead a medical team in some capacity. I’m excited about the prospect of working with teams like legal and procurement on developing streamlined processes. One reason the job stands out for me is organizational expertise. I’ve had inspirational medical professionals that I really admired, and would love to manage my own team in a few years.

One of my goals is to develop my medical professional skills. I want to help brands become world class publishers. In addition, I’ve been raising my hand for more public speaking assignments, since I know that written and verbal communication skills often work together. I would love to apply this skill set to establish our own team as medical professionals.

One should put forward the weaknesses, draw examples relating to skills or personality traits. You may want to choose which to focus on depending on the profession job you’re for.

I can be too critical of myself. One solution I’ve implemented over the years is to actively pause and celebrate my achievements. Not only has this helped my own self-esteem, it’s helped me genuinely appreciate and recognize my team and other support systems.

Being a part of a workgroup that didn’t meet our strategic goals in a row, I knew I owed it to my team and myself to confidently share my ideas. I learned practical skills around leading discussions and sharing diverse perspectives. I’ve trained myself to take a step back before diving into problem solving mode and identify people or groups that can be resources to me.

A group project where I saw how my putting things off to the last minute created stress for everyone. It was a wake-up call. I started creating daily schedules that hold me accountable to my team, and I broke the habit. It was hard at first, but using the process was a real breakthrough in my workflow.

One should be always aware of how and what doing affects the team and management. I’ve learned how to find the balance between perfect and good and being timely.

Being in the working world, I realized that I wanted to take my career in a more analytical direction. I found some free online courses that refreshed the important basics for me. This new foundation has enabled me to do my own goal setting and tracking.

It’s challenging to balance your humility with the need to project confidence. Use the job description as guide as you select your strengths.

I’m proud of my ability to get cross functional groups. I’ve honed my management skills through 360 reviews and candid sessions with my team, and I know continuing to build my leadership skills is something I want from my role. I’m excited about applying my passion and abilities to this position and pushing the envelope of this program for my medical profession.

I’ve learned how to find the perfect balance between that creativity and analytics, and it’s a personal passion of mine to demonstrate what good can achieve for the bottom line.
