It can occur due to surgery, child birth, Cuts or burns etc. People with acute pain can get relief within few days as it can be easily treated. But the sudden occurance of the pain is sharp and hence some people unable to bear the pain.
The chronic pain can last upto more than six months and it is continuous in nature. It means that it occurs randomly.
