Healthcare is a profession where it has to treat its patients or clients with utmost care and affection without any harm to their dignity but in certain times or places it is difficult to treat a patient with dignity and its unavoidable. Some of them are as following

  • When there is a mass casualty, basis on the priority the victims are treated ,even when a patient who has mild injury (will self heal on time) requesting for an immediate care may be denied for it affecting their dignity by the healthcare team
  • A patient in a Labour room has to be expose the birth canal to deliver a baby ,though it is the rule of nature and medical practice ,it can affect one's feelings and emotions later when they come across the staff who conducted the delivery.
  • A patient's confidential report (may be an infectious disease ) has to be informed to the partner or with the one in relationship
  • An adamant child or patient refusing(mentally disturbed) for a procedure are insisted and forced unintentionally to get the care and be cured
