Natural disasters continue to occur and we have to be prepared to help each other during times of crises and the aftermath of a disaster. Many individuals and companies reach out to communities to help individuals re-build or are housed until they are able to move forward. How can we promote awareness to help others affected in certain towns and cities while working in communities which may not have experienced a natural disaster?

Ans) The major way to avoid the individual injuries, death of people and other kind of minor or major problems due to the natural disaster is to provide the public awareness and teaching about the natural disasters and how to be safe in these conditions.

All the people should be clearly aware about the type of natural disasters they are going to face in the future, mainly people living in the urban areas.And they should know how to be prepared to face the problems before the occurrence.For example: earthquake, flood, hurricanes, tornadoes, typhoons etc... which damages the houses and the complete town areas.

All the public officials and the medias are having a good role in providing the awareness and it may be through the radio, television, internet search, YouTube or through the newspapers.These all categories should be greatly prepared to give important instructions and ideas to make the people safe from disasters, because the media's are the efficient tool which can really helps to give the awareness to a wider range of people.And they should also need to know how to efficiently communicate to the population at the period of natural disasters.

Some of the special methods should be taken to provide the caring for extremely unsafe sections of population such as the children, older individuals, persons with any kind of disabilities.And there should be special classes and awareness programs to these people for giving the proper instruction on how to overcome the difficulties during disasters.

So during the disasters helping others along with us is an important thing, and this can be done in a variety of ways,

-- One of the major thing is to give the donations in the form of money or food materials.This can be transferred to several organizations which provides the help to the people who experienced the disasters.

-- Assemble a school and collage fundraiser, that means we can speak to the teachers , professors and the management about the school and collage based actions to raise the fund.And make the list of items that the organizations need to get to same the people and the items list should be almost accurate because the excess things donations will make it difficult to store it.

-- And try to make small groups or communities and divide the jobs during the disaster management to the them.This can give more efficiency to the disaster management.
