1. Yes , attitude of a Nurse or health care personnel who cares a male person with genito urinary examination is very important to make him comfortable. Utmost many younger nurses quite being unprofessional expresses shy or hesitate to assist , so professional attitude of health care personnel makes patient more comfortable.

2. Ways that can display attributes of professionalism.

  • Be confident on assisting the procedure
  • Do not show your personal behaviour attitude
  • Do not think that you are assisting a male person, its just you are caring a patient
  • Be dignified and never have disgust in touching the genitals
  • Its better to express the same professinalistic attitude over your face.

3. Ways that you can assist to make the patient more comfortable.

  • Greet the patient
  • Speak freely and openly
  • Explain about the procedure
  • know the concerns of the patient
  • Explain and make him understand the importance of making the procedure
  • Make him understand the procedure is a part of treatment and ask him to feel more comfortable
