Answer #1

Disability insurance provides risk coverage for the lost income due to failure to work in case of any permanent or temporary disability.

For jobs which includes heavy labour work where labour is engaged in serious and life risky environment such that the risk of loss and risk of getting disabled is higher the insurance premium would definitely go high. Such as drilling and mining work, oil and gas fields and extraction sites, workers are handling gigantic machines, real estate work, etc.
