Withholding disability in the disability insurance form can be ethical but not legally acceptable either done by the physician or the staff.
In certain cases like mild disability which will not affect the career or the working capacity of an individual those type of disability can be withheld. Mild physical disability for a white colour job with good cognition can be withheld,but even mild disability are not acceptable in case of a blue colour job. Information like ongoing police investigation can be with held,in case if it affects a person's confidentiality or the patients privacy,
