The HIPAA focus on four major concerns :- 1) Privacy of Health Information of patients 2) Security of electronic Records 3) Insurance portability 4) Administrative simplification . By providing privacy & protection HIPAA plays major role in quality medical products and services in the organization. HIPAA ' provides detailed instructions for handling a protecting a patient's personal information as well as provides continous insurance coverage for people when they change or lose a job. Six Sigma in Improving patient safety. This mainly emphasizes on carefully selection, prioritizing and scoping improvement opportunities. It reduces the Medical errors as well as improve the bottom line. Six Sigma reduces the process vanation and defects, but it is only overall framework Overall it is used to eliminate the medical errons and enhance the quality of care that being provided to the patients.
